The Long Bay Symphony String Quartet presents a colorful program of familiar selections, from classical favorites like Mozart’s Eine Kleine Music to classic songs by Cole Porter (“Night and Day”), Argentinian tangos, music of Pink Floyd and The Beatles, and selections from the popular Netflix series, Bridgerton.
Two showtimes available: 6PM or 8PM. Tickets are $45 per person.

The Long Bay Youth Symphony, under the direction of Dr. Charles Jones Evans, presents its Winter Concert on Wednesday, February 12th at 7:30 in the Myrtle Beach High School Music & Arts Center Auditorium. In honor of Valentine’s Day the program will feature famous classics inspired by romance, from light-hearted to tragic: Tchaikovsky’s Romeo & Juliet; incidental music for Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream by Mendelssohn, including the “Wedding March” (and featuring actors from the Myrtle Beach Area Children’s Theater); excerpts from the opera Carmen by Bizet; and On the Beautiful, Blue Danube Waltzes by Johann Strauss Jr. In addition to these orchestral pieces, select LBYS chamber ensembles will be featured.
